The Hochberghaus stands above everyday life! With a fabulous view that extends over the Almtal to the Innviertel - the perfect place to switch off with your loved ones or just as a couple, unwind, recharge your batteries and let the children be children.

"Hotel comfort and hut atmosphere" is our motto and delights the young and the young at heart, companies, clubs and bus groups alike. Our Hochberghaus specialties such as “s'Pfandlessen” and the “Holzknechtolympiade” are particularly popular. Sometimes it should just be a cozy evening in front of the open fireplace.

In our "Family Alm" you can expect cozy 2-bed rooms with attached children's room.
The best place for families with up to 3 children: Leave your luggage and worries at home: back carriers, wireless child monitoring (500m range), baby equipment, cots, etc... Everything, of course, free of charge! The “Mugglalm” is right in the house. The spacious playroom is the favorite place for our little guests. The ski school and the weekly children's ski course (Mon.-Fri.) are just as much a part of the "Hochberghaus winter fun" as the toboggan runs and snowshoe hikes!

Waldness only exists in the family and KlausurAlm Hochberghaus. Our sauna doesn't measure up to huge wellness temples. Their only claim is to fit perfectly into the overall offer. That's why she's in the middle of the forest. Surrounded and protected by mighty trees. Built from local logs. Really easy - just real!

In winter there is not a car to be seen far and wide. They all stay in the valley, because the journey to the Hochberghaus with the lift must take place by 4 p.m. at the latest! But the slope is only a snowball's throw away from the house.

Anyone who can enjoy appreciates the beautiful things in life.

The kitchen at the Hochberghaus presents itself as "tasty" and fine. The traditional “pan dishes”, which have enjoyed undiminished popularity for many years, are downright famous. But not only the rustic home cooking tastes excellent up here at over 1200 meters above sea level, but also fresh, local fish, the light cuisine with its wonderful salads and herbs. And anyone who hasn't tried the hot brown bread with the irresistible toppings will be delighted. A special temptation are the refined desserts and the homemade strudel, which adapt to the current fruit variations depending on the season.

The pfandl dishes in the Hochberghaus can already be classified as legendary - hearty and rustic, the various pfandl specialties are served in a real pan. If you like it a little bigger, you can order the giant pan for several people by prior arrangement.
Sun terrace
Summer, wonderfully fresh mountain air, a panorama to die for... and that on the terrace at the Hochberghaus. Add a glass of wine or beer – the evening is perfect. If the weather is right and you can experience a sunset over the Almtal, you are at least 1200 meters closer to heaven than those who stayed below - a pleasure!
