Around the hotel village SCHÖNLEITN, families and winter sports enthusiasts will find sheer endless variety. Magnificent mountains and valleys on the doorstep and a stone's throw away are Italy and Slovenia.

Winter or snowshoe hiking, sitting comfortably around the fire in the village square, exploring the area on touring skis and then simply unwinding in the hotel's own SPA & Wellness area before indulging in a delicious dinner at the Dorfwirt SCHÖNLEITN in the evening - this is a winter holiday of a very special kind.

But skiing fun should not be neglected either. The Villach ski mountains Gerlitzen Alpe and Dreiländereck are 20-25 minutes away by car. The free ski bus from/to the hotel takes you comfortably to the Dreiländereck and Gerlitzen Alpe. TOP: Ski school with ski rental is directly in the hotel, children's ski hill right opposite. Ski resorts in Italy and Slovenia are also within easy reach.
