Winter in the Lungau

• SKIING: The Lungau is a real paradise for winter vacationers. Snow-covered mountain peaks, sparkling blue skies, perfectly prepared pistes, glittering icicles at the summit cross - everything you could wish for in a magical winter landscape. Right on the doorstep are four varied ski areas that promise an unforgettable ski holiday: Obertauern, Aineck / Katschberg, Großeck / Speiereck, Fanningberg - the ski bus stop can be reached in a one-minute walk.
• CROSS COUNTRY SKIING: Discover the beautiful cross-country trails in the middle of the beautiful Lungau Berkulisse.
• SKI-MOUNTAINEERING: The Lungau makes the hearts of touring fans beat faster. The snow conditions are usually excellent due to the altitude and climatic conditions. The 2,740 m high Preber is the classic among the Lungau winter peaks and is one of the most popular ski touring mountains in the Schladming Tauern.
