The Nassfeld region and its partner destinations form one of the largest cross-country skiing centres in Carinthia. This gentle yet invigorating winter sport is the perfect alternative to alpine skiing, combining peace and quiet with fresh air and beautiful natural surroundings. Some of the trails in the region lead through snowy forests, while others contain challenging ascents for advanced cross-country skiers. Indeed, several trails even lead over the Nassfeld Pass and into neighbouring Italy.
