Due to the central location, many well-known large ski areas and inexpensive family-friendly small ski areas are easily accessible within half an hour by car. Ideal for a ski safari.

Ski resorts:

The closest large ski areas are Skijuwel Alpbachtal-Wildschönau. Zillertal and Stubaital!
For example: you can reach the skiing area Spieljoch in the Zillertal by car in 20min.

The nearby ski resorts Kellerjoch, Weerberg and Stans are perfectly suitable for children.

Night skiing:
Try the night skiing experience in the nearby ski resorts of Söll, Alpbach, Hochzillertal and Stans.

Besides skiing, there are many other recreational winter activities!

Toboggan runs:
in addition to the illuminated toboggan run behind the house, which can be reached in 10 minutes by foot, there are many toboggan runs of all levels of difficulty in the surrounding area (Stans, Loas, Weidener Hütte, etc.)

Cross-country skiing:
if there is enough snow, the free cross-country skiing tracks on Vomperberg, which can be reached by car in 5 minutes, are ideal. Alternative areas can also be reached in 20 minutes by car (Achensee, Gnadenwald).

Ice skating:
Is easily accessible by foot at the artificial ice rink in the market town of Vomp.
