The Sabiona Monastery is one of the oldest pilgrimage places and a popular tourist destination in Klausen. It can be reached along the beautiful walk from the medieval centre of Chiusa.

The idyllic Val di Funes/Villnöss valley in the Dolomites, UNESCO World Heritage, with the famous Odle/Geisler massif is the perfect hiking area. Countless well-maintained hiking trails, suitable for families, children, elderly and handicapped people are perfect to spend a beautiful day in the unspoilt nature of the Puez-Odle Nature Park.

Just as inviting is the Val Gardena/Gröden. A lot of perfectly prepared ski slopes in winter are guaranteed. Whereas in summer you can hike on mountain pastures, surrounded by a wonderful alpine landscape. Val Gardena is also famous for the art of wood carving and you may learn more about this ancient tradition from many passionate artists.

As an absolute highlight, we recommend a trip to Bolzano/Bozen with a visit to the South Tyrolean Museum of Archaeology. Ötzi - the iceman, the wold’s most famous glacier mummy, has been preserved in perfect condition and is permanently exhibited at the Museum

The Valle Isarco is the territory where in autumn we celebrate the "törggelen" tradition. Numerous farm taverns open their traditional "Stuben" where to taste home-made products and delicacies, new wine and roasted chestnuts.

*Plose
Mount Plose lies above the city of Bressanone/Brixen and it’s a wonderful hiking area for the whole family. Particularly suitable for children is the hiking trail WoodyWalk. With a total length of 4 km and only 100m of difference in altitude it is perfect for little ones. Along the way there are numerous fun attractions and children’s activities. There are also some alpine huts where to stop off for refreshment.

*Val di Funes/Villnöss
Nature around the Geisler/Odle peaks is almost untouched, and the landscape is beyond description. The large number of hiking trails impress with breathtaking views, and the many alpine huts serve homemade culinary delicacies.

*Alpe di Villandro/Villanderer Alm
The Alpe di Villandro offers a fantastic panoramic view. The hiking trails are perfect for adults and children, for Nordic Walkers and nature lovers.
