The UNESCO World Heritage Site Schloss Eggenberg invites you to take a range of trips through time: from the highly symbolic architecture of the princely residence to the art treasures of the Alte Galerie and the sparkling Coin Cabinet, through to the mysterious traces of life to be found in the Archaeology Museum.

The architecture of Schloss Eggenberg follows a strict system of numbers-based symbolism, standing for a world-view in which harmony rules through order. 24 state rooms fascinate us with their original decorations from the 17th and 18th century, more than 500 ceiling paintings, and a sensation from Japan. The Schloss is surrounded by a picturesque landscaped park.
