Chapel of St. Mary in Schmelz

Located in the Martello Valley, this small chapel was originally built in 1711 by Count Hendl for his miners. However, he was forced to sell it during the famine in 1816. Nowadays, the patronage of St. Mary in Schmelz is celebrated with a holy mass on the first Sunday in July.
