Our nature chalets are located in the midst of the Ötztal mountains and only a 5-minute walk from our namesake and highest waterfall in Tyrol, the Stuibenfall.
Surrounded by water, forest and meadows and at around 1,500 metres, our sunny high plateau Niederthai is located. A holiday oasis that combines peace, activity, nature and comfort.

Built and furnished with high-quality local materials, your holiday home combines exclusive comfort and traditional charm. 2 to 10 people have the space and freedom to enjoy the modern facilities with various highlights such as pellet stove, panoramic room and private sauna.

The cottages are designed for self-catering. In the summer months, however, you can also enjoy à la carte dining in our Stuibenfall inn. Local Wirtshaus specialities prepared according to traditional recipes with a French touch await you.

A summer in Niederthai promises a variety of sporting activities:
Mountaineers start their tours directly from the front door to the local peaks. There are around 250 three-thousand-metre peaks to climb in the Ötztal. But also hikers will find relaxing routes through forests and meadows to cosy alpine huts.
The Ötztal is a first-class terrain for cycling tours of all kinds, from racing bikes to downhill.
You can cool off and refresh yourself in the mountain lakes around Niederthai. The adventure bathing lake in Umhausen is especially worth a trip for families and the idyllic Piburger See in Ötz is one of the warmest bathing lakes in Tyrol.
The via ferrata Stuibenfall, at the waterfall, is a highlight for all climbers. Also suitable for children from 10 years and beginners. The falling masses of water make the natural spectacle perfect.
