From Lofer to the Grubhörndl (1,747 m)
Fotók felhasználóinkról
You start the ski route at the valley station of the Almenwelt Lofer (626m) in the Salzburger Saalachtal and ascend along the valley downhill in the direction of Loderbichl. Then continue on the piste past the Hasnstall (Apres-ski) and along a flat traverse to the Hochwena. Here it gets steep. Once at the top, keep left and follow the path that leads under the gondola up. Now it goes steeply uphill for the first hundred meters until you proceed again on a rather flat ascent to the top station of the Grubhörndl lift. Shortly before your destination, after the top station of the drag lift, it goes steeply uphill left again to the summit cross of the Grubhörndl.
WARNING: Do not go too close to the edge due to the cornices!
