Museum Ladin Ursus ladinicus

The museum "Museum Ladin Ursus ladinicus" presents an exhibition of fossil remains of the prehistoric bear found in the grottoes at the foot of Mount Conturines.

In the museum "Museum Ladin Ursus ladinicus" you find an exihiton of the remains of the cave bear found in the grottoes at the foot of Mount Conturines.

The museum, an outpost of the Ladin Museum in San Martino in Badia, is spread over three floors where you can see:

• an exhibition of the origins of the Dolomites,
• pictures and documentation of the excavations in the Conturines cave,
• the fossil remains of the cave bear and an insights in the life of the prehistoric inhabitant of Mount Conturines.
