Beautiful alpine pasture in the mountaineering village of Vals where Helga Hager offers guided hikes and gives participants an insight into Tyrolean alpine life.

To get to know alpine life, Helga Hager (alpine dairymaid, alpine and Tyrolean mountain hiking guide, nature and landscape guide and qualified sommelière) offers enjoyable hikes with guided tours of the alpine pastures in the mountain climbing village of Valsertal.

After an approx. 1-hour hike in the grey alder forest of the "Natura 2000" nature reserve, Helga shows participants on her alp how goat cheese is produced and explains how the hay is brought in on the alp and how the animals are kept during the summer.

The tasting of the alpine pasture products, from farmhouse bread to goat cheese, homemade herbal salt, wild herb curd and farmhouse butter, is a real treat for the palate and, with the view of the surrounding mountains, an experience for all the senses.
