In summer, come and discover our 3 mountain lakes in the idyllic setting of the Bretaye region. The Lac des Chavonnes, suitable for swimming and fishing, will be a welcome stop on this hike.
You can reach the start of this hike by taking the cogwheel train from Villars to the terminus: Bretaye. The view of the Vaud Alps and Mont Blanc along the way and on arrival will delight all lovers of Alpine landscapes.
You then cross the hamlet of Bretaye and pass near the lake of the same name. Don't hesitate to walk around it (about 20 minutes). The next part of the walk takes you to the Lac Noir, which you leave on your right, then you reach the Lac des Chavonnes at the end of a wide path. Then retrace your steps or make a loop via Vy Boveyre and Conche, then return to Bretaye (1h45 in all).
