The main center of the Nordic discipline is the Cross Country Vermiglio, which is 10 km away from Passo Tonale.
6 trails of varying difficulty and trails of 25 km length are at disposal between the villages Volpaia, Stavel and Velon and run through coniferous forests and characteristic farmsteads.

The Nordic Centre offers a bar, showers, locker rooms, parking, ice skating rink, equipment rentals, ski school and rooms for waxing.
