Hike - Tafertshofen circular route

As soon as you have left the winding alleys and trails of the mill district in Uffing, you walk on a narrow path along the River Ach, past the little mill known as “Vogelmühle” and a hamlet through the shady forest to Schöffau. Here the St. Anna Church or “Gasthaus Lieberwirth” invites you to linger. Soon after that you will reach a ridge with magnificent views of the Ammergau Alps. The route continues through the forest via the ancestral seat of the Tafertshofer family back to Uffing.
