Breitenbach-Haut-Rhin

Starting from the Munster sports complex, follow the bike path towards Metzeral. After the village center and the Luttenbach campsite heading towards Breitenbach, turn left and start the climb to the Petit Ballon. Get ready for 20 km of ascent and nearly 1000 m of positive elevation gain! Passing near Geisbachkopf and Solberg. A little break at the 14th km with a stop at the Auberge du Ried. Upon reaching the Lameysberg farm, there are 5 km left to climb to the Petit Ballon pass, enjoying a beautiful view of the surrounding peaks and the villages below. Switch sides for the descent towards the heights of Wasserbourg, passing near the Strohberg and Boenlesgrab inns. After the latter, about 7 km mostly flat before a small climb to cross over to the village of Eschbach-au-Val, then finish the descent back to Munster. Challenge yourself to the Petit Ballon with this route designed for athletes!
