Zanuz forest

On the mountain road or on the old mountain path, the route leads from Valens up through beautiful meadows and pastures towards Alp Branggis. Hikers are amply rewarded with a magnificent view of the steeply rising Calanda. An entertaining ascent to the magnificent Alp Tristeli is followed by a steep descent to Glattrüti, along shady forest paths. From Sandgrube, the trail leads into the valley back to Valens.
