Before undertaking any hike, it is recommended to:

- check weather and avalanche bulletins from ARPA Piemonte, http://www.arpa.piemonte.it/bollettini

- get information from local Tourist Offices, Ski Schools or Alpine Guides.

- In case of avalanche danger, any hike is not recommended.

- The difficulty level indicated on each route may vary depending on snow conditions

The indicated trails are only packed by people walking: no mechanical maintenance or regular grooming service is provided.

Hiking in snowy environments requires the use of electronic signaling and search systems as provided by Legislative Decree no. 40/2021 art. 26

Highway A32 Torino-Bardonecchia, Oulx exit, follow signs to Champlas du Col, or reach Pinerolo and follow Sp23R to Champlas du Col. 

Train from Torino P.N to Oulx

Arriva bus line 285 from Oulx to Sestriere

or

Arriva bus line 275 from Torino to Sestriere

- Do not litter the environment but carry your waste away, possibly also collecting any left by others.

- The estimated durations are indicative and may vary depending on weather conditions and personal abilities.

Bring a backpack with water and food; there are no refreshment points or fountains along the route.
