Thanks to its favourable and sunny location at 1650 metres above sea level on the southern slope of the Alps, Carì is a popular tourist resort in the Leventina Valley. Sun, sport and fun characterise Carì as the ideal place for sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. In winter, Carì is transformed into an enchanting winter destination.
Next to the middle station is the Osteria Belvedere, a mountain restaurant with a large panoramic terrace and a small playground. "Betulin du Lèi" is the meeting point at 2300 metres above sea level next to the second chairlift and the mountain lake "Lèi di Carì".
In the village, next to the departure of the chairlift, there is a large, free car park. In summer, it is possible to do a whole range of activities in Carì: Mountain biking, paragliding, trekking on horseback, tennis, Nordic walking, excursions, hiking and trekking, to name but a few.
Carì is easy to reach by car, by taking the A2 motorway towards Sankt Gotthard, exit Faido, then continue for 12 km to Carì or by public transport: take the regional train to Faido and then the post bus to Carì.
Carì is 150 km from Milan and 140 km from Zurich.
