Today, these former routes have been transformed into well-developed and clearly signposted hiking and mountain trails, allowing visitors to enjoy the unspoiled nature and breathtaking alpine scenery.

The Hornbach Valley is easily accessible year-round via a well-maintained road. The gently ascending road leading to Hinterhornbach is also very popular with cyclists.
