Ordino

Ordino is one of the municipalities that has best understood how to preserve the natural environment. With 5000 inhabitants and situated at 1,300 m, the landscape represents a unique and special value. Ordino is undoubtedly an example of the integration of modern society in the midst of nature, with the area divided into eight villages: Ordino, Sornàs, Segudet, Ansalonga, la Cortinada, Llorts, Arans and el Serrat. In all these towns, the traditions and customs of rural life are combined with a modern tourist offer.

In the town of Ordino, two of the most important houses in Andorra have been preserved and are part of the national heritage. The "Casa Rossell", where famous personalities such as Antoni Fiter i Rossell, author of the Handbook of Andorran Customs and Traditions, lived, and the "Casa Museu d'Areny-Plandolit". The museum offer is extensive and among the artistic treasures preserved are the Romanesque paintings in the church of Sant Martí de la Cortinada.
