Stoos winter sports paradise

The steepest funicular railway in the world takes guests to the mountain village of Stoos, right in the heart of the ski resort. Once at the top, a winter sports paradise opens up for young and old alike. There are 35 kilometres of varied slopes, idyllic cross-country trails, a fast-paced airboard and toboggan run, snow sports schools, Frönelis Winterland with two free magic carpets and a short toboggan run, winter hiking trails, snowshoe trails and numerous inviting restaurants and cosy pubs. The view from the Fronalpstock is a unique experience, offering a fabulous panorama of over 10 Swiss lakes and countless Alpine peaks. From 4-star hotels to rustic Alpine farms, there is something for every budget on the Stoos.

Really steep: children ski for free on the Stoos!
With the ‘Stoos Family Steep Pass’ season ticket, all your children under the age of 16 can ski for free throughout the winter season.
