Our 350m-long ski lift in Fahrendorf - affectionately known as the Velden Streif by the locals - is located 450 metres above sea level and is operated by the Velden ski guild on a voluntary basis. Thanks to the shady hillside location and our snowmaking team, skiing is usually possible even at lower altitudes.
It is easy and quick to reach on the outskirts of Velden and is ideal for beginners and children....

Thanks to the shady hillside location and our snowmaking team, skiing is usually possible even at lower altitudes.
It is easy and quick to reach on the outskirts of Velden and is ideal for beginners and children.
The ski guild offers ski training for members (Christmas holidays and Saturday mornings). The lift is open to everyone every day from 13:00 to 16:30 and on Sundays from 9:00 to 12:00.
There is a cosy hut on site with snacks and drinks and, of course, toilet facilities. Car parking is available.
Tobogganing and bobsleighing are not permitted on the ski piste for safety reasons!
