A new highlight for the 2026/2027 winter season:

the Gitsch lift
In the upcoming winter season 2026/2027, winter sports enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting new addition: the brand-new Gitsch detachable 6-seater chairlift. With this modern lift, travel time for skiers and snowboarders will be cut in half, allowing them to reach the slopes faster.

The Gitsch lift offers maximum comfort and safety. Equipped with heated seats and weather protection hoods, it ensures a pleasant ride even on cold and windy days. Especially important for families with children: each seat features an individual footrest. This special design further enhances transport safety.

Starting at an altitude of 2,203 meters, the Gitsch lift carries its guests up to 2,500 meters. There, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy not only a spectacular 360° panoramic view from the viewing platform but also the beautiful, wide “Gitsch” slope, which is nearly one kilometer long.

Another highlight is the installation of the second system in the ski area for automated shutdown of the lift. The system uses AI-based detection software in the boarding area to identify whether visitors are not properly seated and at risk of falling before the safety bar can be closed. This advanced safety feature provides additional protection for all passengers.

With these innovative improvements and a variety of downhill options, the Gitsch lift will be a highlight of the upcoming winter season.
